SCALLYWAG MOSH PIT events are exclusively for FAMILIES. It’s a SAFE SPACE for children, that will allow the kids to ROAM FREELY and EXPLORE, whilst the parents can RELAX and have a chat [maybe about something not child related or even with a drink] with other parents.SCALLYWAG MOSH PIT is a COMMUNITY that organises events for children and their parents to encourage them to MUTUALLY EXPERIENCE live music, dancing, jamming, playing together. It’s arts’n’crafts, try out instruments, building things… SHARING SKILLS and LEARNING from each other. It’s about growing CONFIDENCE and growing BONDS between the scallywags and the MUMS and DADS. SCALLYWAG MOSH PIT is also a GATEWAY to leave the loneliness of parenthood, to RECONNECT and SOCIALISE with people of similar age, and to catch up with the latest ‘must knows’. Everywhere kids are not welcome, here they are the KINGPINS. It’s ‘KIDS ALLOWED’ instead of the choice of not going out at all or trusting the little ones to a child minder.FRIENDS with or without kids are very welcome to JOIN in.The door is manned by people who will not allow admission to strangers.The sound engineer are keeping the volume low to PROTECT the little ears.The bands are advised to refrain from non child friendly parts in the lyrics and replace them with harmless terms.We will PROVIDE child friendly, gluten and nut free, low sugar, vegan, organic snacks and treats FOR FREE. BRING YOUR OWN and SHARING is encouraged.
