Swap Shop revisited. After our lightblue Chandos Park Swap Shop has been vandalised and sadly discontinued, the Scallywags et Moi have built a new Swap Shop out of wooden scraps from the skip...
... and painted it.

Come rain, hail or snow, our Swap shop keeps going!
We changed place from one side to the other, to have a wider space next to the Chandos Community Centre board.
We are now on the third drawers in the picture. Nature takes it's toll on the furniture.
Drawers, boxes and baskets keep on wandering off...
The Swap board (yellow and blue) never really took off, but we keep it - it is a neat idea to offer and request bigger items such as matresses, sattees, bedding, hoovers... items you find regularly in Newhams streets. If they get wet, they are no use for anyone anymore.
Full of goodies, ready to find new forever homes!
Usually half of the things go in 24-48 hours, which is not bad! Thank yu for everyone donating items!
